WebMay 6, 2024 · The issues start when you try to power both the arduino and the R/C Receiver off of the sabertooth, and try to route the signals through the Arduino. The Sabertooth will go all goofy and start jerking the wheels around like its having a hissyfit. Oddly enough, the R/C Receiver is actually outputting the signals that are the culprit. WebSabertooth also allows you to make very fast stops and reverses - giving your robot a quick and nimble edge. In certain operating modes Sabertooth can process up to 3000 speed commands per second. Sabertooth has a built in 5V BEC that can provide power to a microcontroller or R/C receiver.
