The design of the viola bridge was different, and I like a challenge (which I am now taking up). The points made are very valid and can be generalised to other designs. WebIt's quite easy to replace the bridge yourself. Very nice bridges are $30-$50; if you want something regular it's often less than $10. Often these are "pre-fit" so you don't have to file them.
