WebAn estimated 166,857 Los Angeles County residents age 65 and older are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease alone and this number is expected to more than double by 2040. 1 The Healthy Brain LA project aims to address the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as a public health issue in Los Angeles County.
