This has nothing to do with Tenifer. Tenifer is a metal treatment, not a finish. This treatment is no longer used by Glock for environmental reasons. WebMar 11, 2016 · 712 Posts. #5 · Feb 29, 2016. Certain kydex holsters will and certain wont, depends on where the person making the holster uses as the tighter points for retention. The kydex holsters I use now are not lined and do not scratch the slide, they are made with a little slide clearance to allow for cerakote etc.
