WebJan 15, 2013 · Adding to the list of mechanical watch hopefuls is Hager Watches, who is attempting to launch their Swiss collection using the aptly named CrowdFunder site. Hager is not entirely new to the watch scene, having been established in 2009 in the US with the goal of creating a high quality, affordable mechanical watch. WebAlso, the fewsome has a sapphire crystal and an automatic movement. I like something with some color/ boldness if possible. I don't know if anything compares in this price range (~$300), but I'm not really a fan of the G-shocks.
