Only major difference is the Blazers have the spring mounts outboarded cause the frame narrows in the back to mount the gas tank, where the pickup would normally hold the spare tire. I went with a 3/4 ton truck, but shortened the frame to K5 blazer specs.... that said, I used a 1975 because the parts run starts in 1973 and goes through 1991! Make sure the running gear you are using is solid - so the year is less important then the condition.
